Story & Lesson Highlights with Rose + Macaron of Atlanta

Rose + Macaron shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Rose +, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Intelligence. Intelligence can open doors to opportunities, problem-solving, and understanding complex concepts, which can be powerful in many areas of life.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Bella, the founder of Rose + Macaron, a brand inspired by creativity and the beauty of life’s sweetest moments.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Someone focused on academics. I attended a top business school with the plan of pursuing an MBA, thinking that was the way forward. But as I progressed, I realized I wasn’t fulfilled following that. It wasn’t my dream. I knew there was something better on earth than having a corporate job. I thrive in environments where innovation and creativity are at the forefront, and I realized that’s where I truly belong.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Trust yourself more, and don’t be afraid to take risks. You’re capable of creating your own path, and the bumps along the way will only make you stronger. Keep believing in your vision, even when others don’t quite see it yet.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m deeply committed to building a successful business and establishing a strong, lasting brand. No matter how long it takes, I believe in creating something meaningful that reflects my values and resonates with others. It’s not just about success—it’s about building something authentic and impactful that endures over time.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m traveling—exploring new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and immersing myself in experiences around the world. There’s something grounding and inspiring about stepping outside my routine and seeing life through a different lens.
