Henry H, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Waking up and thanking God for allowing my feet to hit the floor, stretching, doing Tai Chi and meditation.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My daily prayer to Jesus and my acknowledgements about how I became who i am today….
“Lord Jesus in heaven, YOU are the Son of God. You died on the cross for my sins. God raised YOU from the dead and made YOU, my Savior. I confess all my sins, and I ask YOU to forgive me and to cleanse me of all my sins. I accept YOUR forgiveness, and I receive YOU as my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.”
To my father, SFC (Ret) Henry H. Washington Jr. (Deceased)Vietnam Veteran, my mother, Rose Washington, who had the foresight to see that I was going astray at 14 years old, my second mother Carolyn Washington, my grandfather PFC Henry H. Washington Sr. (Deceased) WWII Veteran, my grandmother’s (Hattie Mae Washington, Florrie Benton Harvey, Josephine Cromartie), and to the old and the young men and women who desire to be better, love better and live better in this world of uncertainty.
To the Village that help raise me to be the man that I am today and to those individuals that ignorantly stated that I would only be a jock and did not have the mindset to be successful, I thank you, that was the fuel that burned within me to be who I am today.
I am built for this!

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Almost being killed in combat 3 different times and battling prostate cancer and WINNING THAT HEAVY WEIGHT FIGHT! Have been healed through my beliefs in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, prayer warriors and professional counseling.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
