Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Shea Pegues of CHAMBLEE

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Shea Pegues. Check out our conversation below.

Shea , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I’m most proud of the relationship I have built with my son and the man he has become. He is such a great human. Him seeing years of sacrifice and dedication to building a great life for past present and future. He has evolved into quite the businessman working sided by side with me. He gets it we are a team and he enjoys working with me and still working on and fulfilling his dreams right here in the shop with his own music studio. Working with family and watching everyone prosper. No one sees the not only the relationships I have built with him and others. But that’s ok. this is for my enjoyment.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi My Name is Shea and my BRAND is to create and build yours. With over 40 years of experience of working a family business working for corporate jobs and unusual job opportunities I have developed a nack for know exactly what clients need to make their brand stand out

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My Mother

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Every Day. lol I’m constantly quitting in my head but I’m committed by my inner default switch

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
yes the public version is the real me that’s why I’m not a public person. I can be anyone other than who I truly am. I need to be able to look myself in the mirror every day and be ok with who I am. Now I can code switch that a whole another topic of conversation.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would quit making things so complicated. I would accept people for who they are with no expectations for them to change. Making the decision swifter decisions without being so emotionally involved.
