Check Out Victoria Bocancea’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Bocancea.

Hi Victoria, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started Paint & Tea Company during a really tender season of my life. I was a new mom trying to juggle everything, Painting had always been a place where I could breathe, reset, and talk to God, and I realized I needed that space again.

What began as me simply searching for a moment of calm turned into something I never expected. I hosted a small paint night just for fun, and the joy in the room reminded me that creativity is one of the sweetest ways God softens our hearts and brings people together. It didn’t start as a business plan at all. It felt more as friends getting together:

So, Very slowly at first. I had a trunk full of canvases, a lot of trial and error, and a whole lot of whispered prayers. But doors kept opening, venues reached out, word of mouth spread, and the community around it grew in a way only God could’ve orchestrated.

Today, with Paint & Tea Company, I get to travel around creating little pockets of joy and rest for people. It’s not just about painting, it’s about giving people a moment to breathe, to laugh, and to remember that they’re allowed to enjoy something purely for themselves and to just decompress.

Looking back, it’s clear God took something small and personal and turned it into something meaningful and full of my heart. And I’m incredibly grateful for the journey painting is leading me on.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like any small business, Paint & Tea Company had its fair share of challenges. There are challenges in learning the logistics, building consistent systems, finding the right venues, and figuring out how to balance growth with day-to-day operations. There were plenty of trial-and-error moments, supply issues, and the normal ups and downs that come with starting something from scratch.

But every challenge helped me refine the business, improve the experience, and build something stronger. Over time, things became more organized, partnerships grew, and the process got smoother. The obstacles were real, but they pushed the business forward and taught me a lot along the way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At Paint & Tea Company, I host mobile paint parties for all ages and occasions. I partner with local venues, but I also bring the fun directly to private groups. I love being part of bridal showers, birthday parties, Galentines gatherings, Super Bowl parties, Friendsgiving, and so many other celebrations. I bring all the supplies and take care of the setup so people can simply enjoy the experience.

I specialize in helping people feel proud of what they create. Even those who insist they “can’t paint” usually end up smiling at their canvas or at least laughing through the process. The heart of what I do is helping people make memories together.

What I am most proud of is the personal touch I add to every event. I pay attention to the details, greet people warmly, and try to create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere from start to finish.

What sets me apart is the blend of organization, creativity, and genuine care I bring into each space. It is not just about painting. It is about giving people a few hours of joy, connection, and a break from the busyness of life.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I would just encourage anyone reading to make a little space for creativity in their life. You do not have to be an artist to enjoy painting or crafting or trying something new. Sometimes the simple act of creating is exactly what your mind and heart need.

Whether it is with Paint & Tea Company or something you do at home, give yourself permission to slow down, have fun, and make memories with the people around you. Life moves fast, and moments like these matter more than we realize.
