Janika , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
I think that the biggest misunderstanding about my business is that it is evil. That is a huge misconception, and nothing is furthest from the truth.
The Art of Tarot is a beautiful and fulfilling art form. Like anything in life, it’s all about peoples’ intentions behind their practice of Tarot. I can only speak for myself and my work. I use Tarot as a tool to help and empower others and to provide clarity.
A lot of people assume that all Tarot readers, root workers, and other spiritual practitioners harm people. That is not simply not true.
Some practitioners are light workers that inspire the world, some are shadow workers, and some people actually embody both elements. I am both a light and shadow worker who believes that healing must come through understanding the polarity of both worlds.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, my name is Nika Williams (short for Janika). I am the creator and visionary behind Astrologyslore LLC, a multidimensional brand that blends Astrology, Tarot, Spirituality, and Beauty. What started from a place of grief (losing my mother in 2020) and from a way to share daily insights has grown into a full ecosystem where spirituality meets self expression, from personalized Tarot readings, to digital guides, to beauty products inspired by the zodiac.
Astrologyslore isn’t just about horoscopes; it’s about helping people reconnect with their power, purpose, and divine timing in both cosmic and practical ways. What makes my brand unique is that it bridges the mystical with the modern, using Astrology as both a mirror and a map for personal growth, while also celebrating individuality through creative collaborations like my Astrologyslore Beauty Lash Line and other zodiac-inspired offerings.
Right now, I’m working on expanding both sides of the brand, the physical and the spiritual. On the Astrology side, I’m developing new digital products and Patreon exclusive content that helps people understand their natal charts and manifest abundance through planetary timing. On the Beauty side, I’m continuing to build Astrologyslore Beauty, which includes my lash collections; these are all designed to embody the confidence and energy of the zodiac signs that they represent. My goal is to show that spirituality can be luxurious, empowering, and unapologetically bold, just like the people who resonate with Astrologyslore.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I suffered from low self confidence and low body image. My childhood was rough; I had a parent who suffered from a drug addiction for most of my childhood. I lost my father at the age of nine and I grew up in extreme poverty. However, thanks to my older sister, Tam, who stepped in to help raise me and instilled in me the confidence to be everything that I could be, I learned at an early age how powerful I was. I learned that despite my circumstances, I would and could be successful in anything that I put my mind to.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I have had plenty of times where I wanted to give up, I am human lol.
However, I’m delusional about being financially abundant. I allow myself to have my bad days, but I get back up and keep going.
No one in this life has the power to tell me that I won’t be successful in life.
I already am successful in my mind, and I practice telling myself this daily!
We must first believe in ourselves before the world does. I validate myself, and my mind is very strong.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
I believe that my mind shapes my reality. I see the world, not through my two physical eyes, but through my pineal gland, my third eye.
Our brains cannot recognize the difference between fact and fiction; it believes only what we program it to believe.
What this essentially means is that we have the power within us to shape the world around us.

I will never regret being my authentic and true self. Authenticity is beautiful. It is what makes you, you. There is not another you.
