We’re looking forward to introducing you to Mudrik McWilliams & Nassir McWilliams & Egypt Mcwilliams. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Mudrik & Nassir & Egypt, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
Right now in our career we are chasing success.its cliche but, truly we are exposing our music to the world.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We go by currently go by M3( Although we are considering a name change).
We are brothers who were raised singing classic hits, from Michael to Queen, we have many inspirations who show in our craft. Right now we are working on marketing our original music, although we made over 150K followers on TikTok making covers, we are now moving onto a new chapter of our music career making music from our hearts, music that speaks to us. And that’s exactly what our new single “Mind War” is. A passion project .
The group consist of me Mudrik(21), my twin Nassir(21),and the youngest Egyptian(20).
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I remember being around 9 years older than me and my brother performed in front of our elementary school. We performed some Jackson 5. Everything was muscle memory and the performance was golden, at that age I knew I’d being making music my whole life.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
There were obviously some personal finding moments. The one I think I could share today would be our financial place growing up. We didn’t have a hole lot of extra. Many opportunities and times of our lives I wish we could have been making content but instead we had to make money. We surpassed that chapter by working hard to get past those financial barriers and honing in on our craft so that our talent would be undeniable.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, I would say that about all three of us. The reason people like us is becasue of our brotherly bond. People seem to find it refreshing. Because of that we never felt the need to put on a persona when we are live or in interviews.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel the most at peace when I have all my work done and am caught up with all my bills. When I am at peace I am able to solely focus on Music and creation.
