Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Rae.
Hi Courtney, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my career as a curve model, which gave me my first real experience in front of the camera through commercial, print, and e-commerce work with brands such as JCPenney, Academy, Francesca’s, Mary’s Bridal, and Calypsa Swim. Modeling helped me build confidence, understand branding, and learn how to perform naturally on camera, which eventually led me to pursue acting more seriously. I trained in acting technique, on-camera and commercial performance, voice over, and improv at Juilliard, The Groundlings, Page Parkes, and On the Hunt Casting. From there, I began booking television, film, commercial, and voice-over roles, including roles on Killer Relationships for Oxygen and The Fashion Hero, as well as film projects like Date Wars, The Three Accused, and Switched Up Christmas.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest turning points for me was signing with Page Parkes, which I was incredibly grateful for. Having that level of professional representation gave me guidance, structure, and the opportunity to grow into stronger, more confident work.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work as a model, actress, and digital media professional, specializing in commercial and e-commerce modeling, as well as television, hosting, film, and voice-over acting. What I’m most proud of is building a career that allows me to combine creativity with strategy. Beyond my on-camera work, I’ve helped grow online communities, develop livestream programming, and contribute to digital initiatives.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck has played a role in key moments. A friend and model colleague gave great reviews for my agency, Page Parkes, which pushed me to submit myself.
