Meet Jessica Davis Conner of Atlanta, Ga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Davis Conner.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and from an early age I knew I wanted a career that blended science, artistry, and service. I attended Spelman College for undergrad and later earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Even in dental school, I gravitated toward cosmetic and restorative dentistry because I saw how powerful a confident smile could be in changing not just how someone looks, but how they feel about themselves.

After graduating, I pursued advanced training in aesthetics and smile design and eventually partnered with a colleague to open Art of Aesthetics Dental Studio in Atlanta, where I now serve as a co-owner. My vision was to help build a boutique, patient-centered practice where dentistry feels elevated, thoughtful, and personal, where each smile is treated as a work of art rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

As my career evolved, so did my interests in wellness and holistic living. That passion led me to own and operate a Pilates studio in Buckhead, allowing me to explore health and confidence from a different angle, movement, strength, and mental clarity. Both ventures are rooted in the same philosophy: helping people feel their best from the inside out.

Today, I balance clinical dentistry, entrepreneurship, and brand building while continuing to learn, grow, and push boundaries. My journey hasn’t been linear, but it has been purpose-driven. I’m proud to be building spaces that merge excellence, intention, and community and I hope my story encourages others to bet on themselves and build the life they envision.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of my biggest challenges has been visibility: consistently getting my name out there and building awareness in a way that truly reflects the quality and intention behind my work. Early on, I had to learn how to advocate for myself, trust my skill set, and stay committed even when growth felt slow.

Another learning curve has been understanding how to clearly communicate my approach to dentistry and the level of care I strive to provide, while also finding the right audience for that message. It’s taught me a lot about branding and storytelling.

Similarly, in the Pilates space, cultivating a true community has been both challenging and rewarding. Creating an environment where people feel connected, supported, and inspired takes time, consistency, and a lot of heart. Those experiences have taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of staying rooted in my “why.” Every obstacle has ultimately shaped me into a stronger clinician, business owner, and leader and I’m grateful for all of it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a cosmetic dentist and co-owner of Art of Aesthetics Dental Studio in Atlanta, where I focus primarily on aesthetic and restorative dentistry, including veneers, crowns, smile makeovers, and comprehensive treatment planning. My approach is rooted in conservative, detail-driven dentistry, enhancing what’s already there rather than overdoing it. I’m known for creating natural-looking, timeless smiles that still make a strong impact.

I’m most proud of the trust my patients place in me. Many come to me after feeling hesitant, disappointed, or unsure from past experiences, and being able to restore not just their smile, but their confidence, is incredibly meaningful.

Beyond dentistry, I also own and operate a Pilates studio in Buckhead, which reflects my broader passion for wellness and helping people feel good in their bodies , inside and out. Whether it’s through a smile transformation or movement, my work is always about confidence, intention, and quality.

What sets me apart is my blend of clinical precision, artistic eye, and genuine care. I don’t rush the process, I don’t chase trends, and I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all dentistry. Everything I do is thoughtful, customized, and rooted in excellence. I see each patient as a long-term relationship, not a transaction and that philosophy shapes every aspect of my work.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Be patient with the process. Stay committed to your vision even when it feels quiet or slow. And don’t be afraid to evolve. Success looks different for everyone, so define it on your own terms, move with intention, and build something that feels true to you.
