Healing as Leadership: How LaCora Monet Is Redefining Sustainable Success

For LaCora Monet, growth and healing are not separate paths—they are happening in tandem. Her debut ebook, The Business of Healing, emerges from a season of deep internal work and professional evolution, reframing healing as a core leadership skill rather than an afterthought. Through her consulting practice, LaCora Monet LLC, she brings together brand strategy, experiential marketing, and leadership development to help founders build from alignment instead of burnout—shifting the definition of success from hustle-driven momentum to grounded, lasting impact.

LaCora, congratulations on the launch of your debut ebook. The Business of Healing introduces a powerful idea—that healing, leadership, and business are deeply connected. What inspired you to write this book at this stage of your journey?
I wrote The Business of Healing because I am currently in a season where growth and healing are happening simultaneously. For a long time, I believed healing was something to address only after reaching success, but I have learned it is essential to how we lead and sustain what we create. This book is born from real experiences-quiet seasons, transitions, and the internal work that shapes how we show up in business. I wanted to provide a voice for the aspects of entrepreneurship that are often left out of the conversation.

Your work sits at the intersection of brand strategy, experiential marketing, and leadership development. How has that blend shaped the way you approach building LaCora Monet LLC differently from traditional consulting models?
That blend defines my entire approach. I don’t view consulting as merely building a brand externally; I focus on internal alignment. Strategy is only sustainable when supported by clarity, identity, and structure. Experiential marketing taught me how visibility translates in person, and leadership development taught me that the founder is the foundation of the business. LaCora Monet LLC is designed to help brands grow with intention, rather than just momentum.

You describe this as a more purpose‑driven chapter that draws from your background in media, partnerships, and stakeholder work. What lessons from that earlier career are most influencing how you lead and consult today?
My background in media and partnerships taught me the power of relationships, storytelling, and trust. Navigating high-pressure environments involving executives, community leaders, and brands has given me the ability to listen deeply and build strategic outcomes that remain human. I lead with presence rather than performance, which directly informs my consulting style.

Many founders struggle to balance growth with alignment and well‑being. How does your philosophy of healing in business help leaders build sustainable visibility without burning out?
Healing in business requires recognizing that growth amplifies everything, especially unaddressed issues. Many leaders lack space and internal stability rather than strategy. My philosophy encourages founders to slow down and build from a grounded place, establishing boundaries and leading with awareness. Sustainable visibility is achieved when a business reflects a leader’s values rather than their burnout.

Looking ahead, how do you hope The Business of Healing and your consulting work will shift the way entrepreneurs think about leadership, success, and long‑term impact?
I hope to shift the conversation from hustle to wholeness. Success is not just about scaling quickly; it is about building something that lasts and becoming the person who can sustain it. I want entrepreneurs to view healing as a leadership skill and alignment as the primary driver of impact. My work is dedicated to helping founders grow in a way that is powerful, honest, and sustainable.
