Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Hunt.

Hi Jessica , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started shooting weddings as an intern for a photographer in high school, and I quickly fell in love with working with clients from behind the camera. From there, I pursued an art degree from Columbia College and launched my business full-time in January of 2015.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of traveling around the world to document more than 250 wedding celebrations. Each year in business, we’ve grown to offer more services to our clients and introduced a team of photographers to serve those who need photographs or video to document their families, important events, and small businesses.

Today, our team serves across the Southeast on wedding days, families and graduation portraits, small business branding media needs, and boudoir photography.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not every moment in business has been a smooth road for us, no! The global COVID pandemic stands out as the greatest hurdle we have faced in business so far. 2020 deeply affected the wedding industry and our business. We had to pivot from our almost exclusively wedding-centered brand to serving a variety of photography needs to adapt to the changes the pandemic brought to couples, weddings, and our industry. Overcoming and persevering through COVID brought many struggles and a lesson or two (or two hundred!) in patience.
