Daily Inspiration: Meet Danny Blackwell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danny Blackwell.

Hi Danny, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My two brothers and I while seeking new adventures came upon the F100 Supernationals Truck Show about 14 years ago.. We attended first as only vendors. At our first show we sold everything we brought to the show. We continued to do that for several years. We became very attached to this show and became a Sponsor. We again did that for about 10 years. Then one year the previous owner made us aware of the fact that he was going to sell the show. We made him and offer and became the owners. Since that event 4 years ago we have doubled in attendance . We love this work and we look forward to many more years of this show. 2027 will be the shows 50th anniversary .

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We have had to learn many things in order to make the show a success. How to deal with vendors. How to gather Sponsors. And the biggest of all lessons was how to work as a team, not just a bunch of individuals.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a varied group. I am a current active Law Enforcement Officer, the middle Brother is a Supervisor in a Plant, the Youngest Brother is a Retired Solider, and a Machinist. We a are a varied group and a ton of funny.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Find your passion and find some one to pay you to do it.
