Exploring Life & Business with Stephanie LeBeau of MetroBottle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie LeBeau.

Hi Stephanie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Stephanie LeBeau – Marketing Director, MetroBottle

Stephanie LeBeau has been with MetroBottle since day one—originally running marketing and social media while also working full-time as one of Atlanta’s top fitness trainers. After years of strength training, group classes, disability training, and even launching her own fitness website and app, the constant physical grind pushed her toward the other thing she loved just as much: marketing and wine!

Now MetroBottle’s Marketing Director, Stephanie jokes she clearly has a thing for being at the top—whether it was ranking among Atlanta’s top trainers or helping MetroBottle earn Top Liquor Store for the past two years.

Locally owned by three Georgia peaches and staffed largely by the same crew since day one, MetroBottle has grown into a neighborhood hotspot known for sold-out events, celebrity bottle signings, and lively wine, bourbon, and tequila clubs. For Stephanie, the best part is building community—connecting people over great bottles, great stories, and the occasional “just one more pour.”

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Transitioning from the health industry into the wine and spirits world has been exciting, but also a big adjustment. I went from knowing one space really well to suddenly learning thousands of new products—different regions, producers, and how to actually market and sell them.

It’s also a much faster-paced, trend-driven industry, so there’s always something new to learn and keep up with. It can be a lot, but honestly that’s been the fun part too. It’s pushed me to grow, stay curious, and get more confident in what I’m doing.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
MetroBottle isn’t your typical liquor store—we’re really focused on building a community here on the Upper Westside, especially in a space that’s still growing and evolving.

We’re big on education, whether it’s wine, spirits, or helping customers discover something new they might not have picked up otherwise. At the same time, we carry a wide variety of non-alcoholic options, so there’s truly something for everyone.

Events are a huge part of what we do—from small, intimate tastings to larger-scale experiences that bring people together. We also love giving back, whether it’s through product giveaways, event tickets, or supporting local sports and the community.

We’re always evolving too—right now we’re even launching a THC/CBD concept in the back of the store, which is really exciting.

What I’m most proud of is being part of a new vision for what a bottle shop can be. It’s not just about selling products—it’s about creating an experience, supporting other brands, and helping grow something bigger than just a store. I’m proud to have played a role in helping that vision come to life and continue to grow.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is growing up in Virginia Beach—it was such a simple, carefree time. It was all about being outside with friends, spending long days at the beach, and just living in the sun, saltwater, and sand.
