Conversations with Nicole Gregory

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Gregory.

Hi Nicole, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Born and raised on the southside of Chicago, it taught me a lesson of community and gave me a go get attitude. I was raised by a single father and grandmother, this helps me both navigate hard choices and stay focused and determined. Moving to Atlanta helped me step more into my calling of writing and acting. I have written hundreds of plays and films, but never felt it was enough. However, the creative nature in me never dies, therefore it became Nicole Gregory. My last name is my fathers first name, paying tribute to him every time someone calls it or refers to it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Its never a smooth road to greatness. I have lost touch with people I once could not imagine myself without, but along the way I have met and been in rooms I could only imagine ever stepping into. It is always a tradeoff and sacrifice, not everyone can handle what this industry can offer and do, so using discernment is key to making sure your circle is a representation of who who truly are. My children keep me grounded and my close love ones keep me focused.

Currently I am the owner and operator of NGS Entertainment Group. NGS stands for (Nicole Gregory Signature ). A Full-Service Film & Television Production Support Company.
