Life & Work with Camille Miller of Zebulon, GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Camille Miller.

Hi Camille, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always known I wanted a career in fashion, but my interest in social media and content creation really started back in high school during 2020. I spent time exploring platforms like YouTube and trying out different types of content, just figuring out what felt natural to me. Over time, I found my groove with Instagram and TikTok, where I could mix creativity, style, and storytelling in a way that felt true to who I am.

When I started college at Georgia Southern University that same year, I saw it as my chance to really start building my personal brand. As a Fashion Merchandising major, I was learning the business side of fashion while also growing creatively. During that time, I found platforms like Her Campus, which gave me a great starting point to get into content creation and begin working with brands.

Since then, it’s really been a process of trial and error. I’ve learned what resonates, how to create content that has a purpose, and how to work with brands in a way that still feels authentic to me. I’ve also made a shift from strictly fashion content into more lifestyle content, which has allowed me to invite people into my everyday life in a more personal way. Through that, I’ve been able to collaborate with over 20 brands, which has been really exciting and something I’m very proud of.

I’ve also gained experience in the fashion industry through roles in product photography and marketing with my college job (shoutout to Cheeky Bliss!) and I currently work at Kendra Scott. Working there has given me hands-on experience in retail, true customer experience, and how a brand connects with its customers in real life, which has been really valuable for me.

Right now, I’m open to new opportunities and really interested in transitioning into influencer partnerships and retail brand events. I’m excited to keep growing and continue doing work that brings together my love for fashion, content creation, and connecting with people.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, and one of the biggest challenges has been the level of discipline it takes to show up consistently. Content creation takes a lot of time, energy, and just mental capacity to create, edit, communicate with brands, and stay engaged. To be completely honest, often times when I’m juggling everything else, content is the area that gets neglected but I have to pick it up and keep it moving.

I’ve had to learn that I’m not always going to feel motivated, and that’s something I’m still working through even now. There are days when I don’t feel like creating or responding to emails, but I’ve had to develop the determination to do it anyway. One of the hardest but most necessary lessons has been accepting that motivation comes and goes, but consistency is what actually moves things forward.

I’ve also experienced creative roadblocks where I feel stuck or unsure of what to create next, which can be frustrating in such a fast-paced space. It’s easy to feel discouraged, but I’ve learned to give myself grace and trust in my faith to push through and find inspiration in new ways.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a fashion and lifestyle content creator and I focus on relatable content that blends my style with my everyday life. While fashion has always been at the core of my content, I’ve expanded into lifestyle to connect more with my audience and share moments beyond just outfits.

I want to continue blending my personal life with my content in a way that feels authentic. My hobbies, everyday moments, interests and overall life in my 20s all come together in a way that makes my content feel like a true reflection of who I am. I have an eye for aesthetics and pay attention to the small details, which plays an important part in my content.

One of my biggest accomplishments has been being invited to brand events with companies like CVS and H&R Block, with one of my favorites being a brand event with SheaMoisture. Being recognized in those ways, along with opportunities like this interview, is so meaningful to me because it shows that my work is resonating beyond what I can directly see.

Alongside content creation, I work at Kendra Scott, where I’ve gained experience in retail, customer experience, and brand representation. Being in that environment has strengthened my understanding of how a brand connects with its community and how to create fun, interactive experiences.

I love how my personal life, hobbies, and interests align with my professional work. What I naturally enjoy (fashion, aesthetics, storytelling, and connecting with people) translates directly into the content I create and the work I do. That alignment allows me to create content that feels authentic, intentional, and true to who I am. My goal is to one day be as big as my favorite social media influencers!

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can work with me through content collaborations, brand partnerships, and social media campaigns. I’m especially interested in working with brands in the fashion and lifestyle space, as well as opportunities that allow me to be involved in influencer partnerships and retail brand events.

If a brand or creator wants to collaborate, they can reach out to me through email or social media; my handles are the same on all platforms (@thecamillerenay) and I’m always open to talking through ideas and seeing how we can bring something to life together.

And for support, it really means a lot when people engage with my content…following, commenting, sharing, it all helps my content reach more people, and I’m so grateful for the support. I’m also genuinely a people person, so I love when people feel comfortable enough to say nice things, ask questions, or DM me for recommendations, product links, or outfit details….it truly makes my day and is one of my favorite parts of what I do. The goal is to build community, always.
