Today we’d like to introduce you to Chantal Smith.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I got started in business five years ago, and over that time I rebranded from Massage by Touch to the brand you see today — Thirty 3 Touch. I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for 10 years, and my passion has always been preventative care: taking the time to educate people on recognizing pain patterns and getting ahead of the discomfort that builds from our daily routines and stresses.
I’ve always followed my own path and gone where I felt led. My focus on pain relief came naturally — more intuitive than studied. What I provide is a massage that’s both relaxing and restorative at the same time, and that’s where I stand out. Massage at Thirty 3 Touch is anything but routine. The only thing copy and paste is when you rebook your appointment.
I’ve tried to walk away from this career more than once, but the Lord always used someone to pull me back in. He uses me to relieve pain, bring comfort, and create safety in an otherwise vulnerable situation — and I’m eternally grateful to provide treatment for the one irreplaceable thing we all have: our bodies.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not. The reality is that wellness services are still considered optional by many, which means we’re often working with people’s disposable income. My ideal client is someone who already believes massage isn’t a luxury — but pain doesn’t care about your budget or your schedule. Eventually, most people find their way to needing these services, whether proactively or after acute or chronic pain sets in.
I also opened the Thirty 3 Touch studio right before the pandemic hit, which meant I locked into a lease just as everything seemed to dry up. Thankfully, I was wrong about how bad it would get. I had two other niches to lean into: post-op lymphatic massage and corporate wellness. Everyone was recovering from surgery, and companies that didn’t shut down were working their teams overtime. Those two things kept me operating.
Currently, one of our biggest challenges is online sales of our ebook — and I’ve identified the culprit: AI. While it’s a helpful tool, it’s become the default for people seeking quick relief, replacing the value of a sought-after professional with a five-step list from a chatbot. I’m actively working on a solution that puts real preventative care into people’s hands — something for the “I missed my appointment, I don’t have time” moments. Think of it as homework between your bodywork sessions.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Thirty 3 Touch is located at 1130 Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, Unit G.
We offer three main pillars of service:
Corporate Wellness — on-site massage solutions brought directly to your workplace.
Retail Offerings — including the Live Well Preventative Care Guide, a 7-day routine for targeting pain relief on your own time, without waiting for an appointment. We also carry an all-position high-density foam sleeping pillow and a 3-piece foam roller alternative made entirely from cork — long-lasting, eco-friendly, and designed for mobility and self-massage.
In-Studio Treatments — this is where the real relationships are built. Our focus is on improving nervous system function over time through consistent, personalized bodywork.
Beyond services, I’m passionate about community and events. Partnering with aligned brands and people who want to pour into each other is important to me both personally and professionally.
Investing in yourself is the highest form of self-love, and I want every reader to know — we don’t take it lightly when you choose to trust Thirty 3 Touch with your most valuable asset.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Freedom. Having the space to choose how, what, and when I want something — those are my successful moments. Being present and able to show up fully for the things that truly feed my soul.
