Today we’d like to introduce you to Rx Cash AKA Yungc5th.
Hi Rx cash, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I go by Rx Cash AKA Yungc5th, I was born and raised in Atlanta—Westside and East. I grew up around the culture, around artists, so music always been part of my environment. so I seen how it works up close.
I started off just recording, talking about what I was living—trap, pain, drill—just real life. Over time I locked in and took it seriously, really worked on my sound and how I deliver it.
What separates me is my mindset. Not just the music, but my work ethic, my drive—I stay consistent and I’m always trying to level up.
Now I’m just building it bigger. More music, more reach, and turning Rx Cash into a name that really holds weight.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Coming up in Atlanta, especially trying to take music seriously, there’s a lot of distractions and competition. At first, it was hard figuring out my sound and getting people to actually take me seriously.
I also had to learn a lot on my own—how to be consistent, how to market myself, and how to stay locked in even when things weren’t moving as fast as I wanted. There were times where I felt like I was putting in work but not seeing immediate results.
But those struggles helped me. They built my mindset and made me more disciplined. Now I don’t really get discouraged the same way—I just keep improving and staying consistent with my music.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
“I’m a recording artist—my focus is trap, pain music, and drill. My music is really based on real life experiences and what I’ve been through growing up in Atlanta. I don’t try to force anything or follow trends; I just speak on what I know and how I see things.
What I’m known for is my consistency and my delivery. I put a lot into how I come across on a track—my energy, my tone, and making sure it feels real and connects with people.
What I’m most proud of is staying focused and building my name from the ground up, especially coming from where I’m from and being around the music scene early. What sets me apart is my mindset and my drive. I take this serious like a career, not just a hobby. I’m always trying to improve, evolve my sound, and take it further than where I started.”
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
“I definitely don’t do this alone. A big part of my journey comes from the people around me
First, my family and close friends have always supported me—even when I was just starting out recording and figuring things out. Having people who believed in me early helped me stay consistent.
My brother Baby Plug & a couple others also played a role just by being active in music and letting me be around that environment early on. I’ve also learned a lot just from people in my city and the Atlanta music scene in general—watching how artists move, how they build, and taking pieces of that into my own path.
At the end of the day, I credit the people who stayed supportive and the environment I grew up in. It all shaped my drive and helped me stay focused on building my own lane as Rx Cash
