Today we’d like to introduce you to Knowledge Chambers.
Hi Knowledge , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a 20-year old black entrepreneur who has generated 7-figures off of my clothing brand. I am from Broward County, Florida. I originally moved to Atlanta for school, but after a full semester of classes i decided to fully focus on my business. Here in Atlanta, i thrived since it is the black Mecca for success and networking. I graphic design and also know how to work social media, so everything worked in my favor when i moved here. Freshly 18 in 2023, i made the big decision to live on my own with no family. Just focused on business, and worried about what i would do to make my life easier for myself and my family around me. Little did i know I would end up getting recognized by my favorite athletes, artists, and even securing an interview with Gillie + Wallo from “Million Dollars Worth Of Game”.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been smooth, but it’s been a blessing. Honestly, majority of everything i have learned in this line of business has come from me studying the game. Graphic design, social media, and even networking has been learned from my trial and error through the past four years. Even though it hasn’t been easy, I’m glad i went through it all and taught myself everything i needed to know. I also applaud my mom/dad for teaching me a bit more about the financial safety aspects of my business (even though it’s not as fun).
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in designing every single piece of clothing i have put out in the last four years. I started off selling $60 hoodies, and can now proudly say I’ve made more than $1 million off of my creations.
It’s also great because majority of the times i leave my house to go to an event in Atlanta, i recognize someone randomly outside wearing something I’ve created. It’s one of the best feelings to know people genuinely support what you create, especially when those on the street can walk past me and not even know I’m the one who has created it! From the design, to the fabric, to the actual measurements of the garment! One of the best feelings.
This sets me apart because a lot of entrepreneurs can’t say they’ve done what I’ve done at such young age. Even though i feel as if i haven’t done enough, I can always say im still feeling accomplished and proud.
How do you think about happiness?
Younger people letting me know I inspire them. I grew up as a younger child, so i know how it felt to gather inspiration for online role-models. It feels amazing to meet someone in real life who supports what I have done. They’ll let me know that I’ve inspired them to “just start it” or even “keep on going”.
