Check Out Tiffany Usher’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Usher.

Hi Tiffany, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in Conyers, GA, and my journey began at an early age. Growing up with a mother who struggled with addiction, I knew early on that I wanted to help people. I was fortunate to have inspiring family members, teachers, and mentors throughout school and my career who always pushed me to succeed. I had my first child at the age of 17, and I remember my manager at Golden Corral, Scott Creighton, told me that if I wasn’t going to college, then I was going into management. I am so grateful that I’ve always had someone around to push me. I’ve experienced a lot of loss in my life and have had to mourn people who are still living. I truly believe that sometimes you have to be alone with God before you can elevate.

My professional background is diverse, spanning health centers, restaurants, and property management, but social work was always my dream job because of my past.

In 2017, I began to face health challenges that worsened in 2024, leading to symptoms like trouble walking, blurry vision, and fainting spells. These challenges made it clear that I needed to step away from traditional employment. As a mother in a family of nine—including my six children, my paramour, and his three older children—being a present mother is my top priority. A huge part of my motivation is my children. I want to show them that anything you dream of and want out of life is possible, and it is important to me that I am always there for them.

This led me to become my own boss. I started businesses in residential and commercial cleaning, catering, and event planning, which allows me to work my own schedule. One detail I’d like to highlight is how thankful I am for my supportive partner; their support has been vital, especially during the periods when I haven’t always been able to work.
Additionally, I began content creation to document my weight loss journey and motivate others. I’ve been amazed by the following I’ve gained, and my goal is simply to spread love and show that there is still good in the world. I’m planning to progress my content creation by focusing more on travel, restaurant reviews, and self love. I am excited to see what the future holds, as my personal motto is: “Be you, be true, and be free!” I just thank God that I’m still able to be here.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have been navigating significant health concerns that have impacted my ability to work as I would like. My background also includes growing up with a mother who struggled with addiction. After being taken from her care, then taken from my maternal grandmother, I had to move in with my father’s family, whom I did not know well at the time. Over the years, many of those family relationships changed or ended, and I have had to navigate much of my life without support from my immediate family.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a self-employed professional providing residential and commercial cleaning as well as catering services. What sets me apart is my heart and the love I pour into my work; I strive to treat everyone as I would like to be treated and to be a source of sunshine in every moment. Outside of my business, I am most proud of being a mom, and I have recently become known for my walking and online content creation.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
While some may attribute success to luck, I personally don’t give luck the credit. I thank God for both the good and the bad, as my faith and trusting in Him have been central throughout my life.
