Exploring Life & Business with The Polished Bubble Co. Fatima And Simon Silva of The Polished Bubble Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to The Polished Bubble Co. Fatima And Simon Silva.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We started The Polished Bubble Co. in 2018 as a small husband-and-wife business with one goal in mind: to create a cleaning company that people could truly trust inside their homes and businesses. At the beginning, it was just the two of us — cleaning during the day, answering calls at night, and learning every part of the business firsthand.
What helped us grow was focusing on relationships and consistency. We always believed cleaning is about more than appearance — it’s about creating comfort, reducing stress, and helping people feel better in their space. Over time, our clients started referring us to friends, neighbors, and local businesses, and the company grew very organically through word of mouth.
Today, we proudly serve families and businesses across the Atlanta area with multiple teams, hundreds of recurring clients, and an incredible staff that has become part of our extended family. Even with the growth, we still stay very hands-on in the day-to-day operations because maintaining quality and personal connection has always been one of our biggest priorities.
One thing that makes our journey special is that we built this business from the ground up while learning how to balance entrepreneurship, family, leadership, and customer service all at the same time. We’re very proud of how far we’ve come, but we still feel like we’re only getting started.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a completely smooth road — and honestly, I think that’s part of what shaped us into the company we are today.
Like many small businesses, we faced challenges in the beginning with balancing growth, finances, scheduling, hiring, and simply learning how to manage everything behind the scenes while still being out in the field cleaning ourselves. There were moments where we worked extremely long hours trying to keep up with demand while also making sure the quality never dropped.
One of the biggest challenges in the cleaning industry is building and maintaining a strong team. We care deeply about the client experience, so finding people who share the same level of attention to detail, professionalism, and care has always been something we take very seriously. Training, communication, and consistency became huge priorities for us as we grew.
Another challenge was learning how to transition from “doing everything ourselves” to becoming leaders and building systems that could support long-term growth. That required a lot of trial and error, patience, and personal growth on our end as business owners.
But every challenge taught us something valuable. It pushed us to improve our processes, strengthen our company culture, and become more intentional about how we serve both our clients and our team. Looking back, those difficult moments were also some of the moments that helped us grow the most.

As you know, we’re big fans of The Polished Bubble Co. . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Polished Bubble Co. is a residential and commercial cleaning company based in the Atlanta area, proudly serving families and businesses since 2018. We specialize in creating customized cleaning solutions that help our clients maintain beautiful, functional, and stress-free spaces — whether that’s a busy family home, an office, a medical practice, or a property preparing to go on the market.
Over the years, we’ve become especially known for our attention to detail, consistency, professionalism, and strong client relationships. We offer everything from recurring maintenance cleanings to deep cleanings, move-in/move-out services, post-construction cleaning, and commercial cleaning programs tailored to each client’s needs.
What truly sets us apart is the level of care and communication we bring into the experience. We don’t believe cleaning should feel transactional. Our goal is for clients to feel supported, understood, and able to trust the people entering their home or business. We’ve built systems, training standards, and a company culture focused heavily on quality, accountability, and customer experience.
We’re also very proud that much of our growth has come organically through referrals, repeat clients, and community support. Being recognized as a “Best of Georgia” winner and earning so many positive reviews over the years has been incredibly meaningful because it reflects the trust people place in us.
Brand-wise, what we’re most proud of is that we’ve been able to grow while still maintaining a personal and family-oriented approach. Even as the company has expanded, we remain very hands-on and deeply involved in making sure our standards stay high and our clients continue to feel valued.
At the end of the day, we want people to know that The Polished Bubble Co. is about more than cleaning — it’s about helping people reclaim time, reduce stress, and feel good in the spaces they live and work in every day.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I would say adaptability and consistency have been two of the most important qualities behind our success.
As small business owners, especially in the service industry, every day can look different. You have to constantly adapt — whether it’s handling unexpected challenges, supporting clients, leading a team, improving systems, or finding better ways to grow while maintaining quality. Being willing to learn, adjust, and improve has been essential throughout our journey.
At the same time, consistency is what builds trust. In our industry, clients are inviting us into very personal spaces, so delivering a reliable experience over and over again matters tremendously. We’ve worked hard to create a company culture where attention to detail, professionalism, communication, and care are consistent across every service we provide.
I also believe genuinely caring about people — both clients and employees — has played a huge role in our growth. When you lead with integrity and treat people well, it creates long-term relationships, and that has been one of the strongest foundations of our business.
