Today we’d like to introduce you to Kajara Nebthet.

Hi Kajara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got started on this journey out of curiousity. I wanted to find out more about thing that were interesting to me such as herbs, crystals, yoga, breathing and natural healing techniques. I started making and selling jewelry and other products at festivals and conferences across the country. I begin to be called into doing women’s healing work as I was trying to heal myself. I began to go to different spiritual events and I was guided to do more to cultivate my spiritual connection and gifts. I allowed my Spirit guides to continue to guide me to do the things that I am meant to do. I realized my purpose was to help heal and uplift my people and I was excited to do that and I made it my life work.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, but it has been rewarding. I have had challenges with helping our people see the need to heal themselves. Many of our people are dealing with trauma, disease, sickness, pain, emotional overload and more. However we do not always know of the natural and traditional options, like Kemetic Reiki that can assist us. My challenge is in getting to the people who need me most. There are so many of us who are hiding behind masks because we don’t know how to do the work to take off the mask and be our authentic selves. We help mostly women to do that.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a nonprofit spiritual organization that promotes health, wellness, culture, natural living and love through our classes, retreats, books, events and other products. We teach Kemetic Reiki which is an energy healing process that uses sound healing, crystals, colors, herbs, aromatherapy, prayer, chanting and all thing natural in our healing practice. I am proud of the books that we offer. We have 13 books in total, 2 books about Kemetic Reiki, a book of African prayers, a vegan recipe book, two journals, a chakra workbook, 3 children’s books, a few other spiritual books and we also have a deck of oracle cards. Our books and products help you to heal your mind, body and spirit. I am also very proud and thankful for the many people that we touched, taught and worked with through the years.

Any big plans?
I am looking forward to taking our classes around the world. I want to have Kemetic Reiki practitioners in every state and in different countries all over the world. I want to be a best selling author and get my books into schools and libraries. I want to see healing centers in cities all over this country. I do what I do so I can leave the world in a better place for those to come.
