Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade Greene.
Hi Jade, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had interest however I didn’t consider the beauty industry as a career until I was in college for something completely different. I kept feeling a pull towards it so I dropped out, quit my day job and jumped right in! I met my amazing mentor (and now boss) Bre, began working with her as an assistant and very soon after became an apprentice and got my own chair. I’m so glad I took the leap.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The first few years behind the chair I believe are a challenge that all stylists can relate to! Building clientele is certainly not for the weak. There were times when I was truly wondering if I was on the right path, slow seasons are hard to push through in the beginning. However this is an industry that you get back what you are willing to pour in. I have been abundantly blessed along this journey.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a hairstylist specializing in custom color and bridal styling, but more than anything, I create hair that feels intentional, more elevated, and lived-in. I’ve always been drawn to looks that don’t feel overly “done,” but instead grow out beautifully and fit seamlessly into real life. Elevating confidence is my number one goal.
Behind the chair, I focus a lot on dimensional blonding, soft blends, and low-maintenance color that still feels high impact. On the bridal side, I’m known for romantic, textured styles that hold up through a full day but still move and feel effortless. nothing stiff or overworked.
What I’m most proud of is the space I create within my chair. It’s not just about hair it’s about presence, energy, transformation in a subtle, everyday way. My clients trust me with altering + perfecting how they want to show up in the world, I do not take that lightly. When they leave, it’s not just that they look different, they feel more like themselves.
What sets me apart is the balance I bring between artistry and intention. I’m not chasing trends, I’m paying attention to the person in front of me. I think my work reflects that: it’s thoughtful, customized, and designed to last. I also really value connection and individuality, so my chair feels more like a space where people can exhale, be themselves, and leave feeling a little more put together than when they came in.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I have learned along my journey is to fully embrace yourself. It is OKAY to be different, march to a different beat and own it. No one is you and that is your power! Learning to embrace individuality and the quiet beauty of self-expression has been a lifelong unfolding for me, and this career has ultimately anchored that truth in everything I do.
