Today we’d like to introduce you to Kordell Brown.
Hi Kordell, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Born in Chicago, IL and was raised in Metro Atlanta since 2008. Growing up I knew I saw the world differently. Over time I tried different outlets to express that until high school I stumbled upon a camera. Since then the world became my Playground.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road to become the person I am today was not smooth. Growing up feeling displaced and trying to fit in. As I got older I released all I needed was my camera. Overtime I’ve founded my community of like minded people. Since then I felt like I no longer compete. In the community of photographers in Atlanta, no matter the level of skills that you have people always looking to better themselves and the people around them. When I came to this community it felt like I’ve known them forever.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m photographer, but I’m proudly like to say that I’m a film Photographer. Shooting analog is something I speaclize in. I’m most proud of is the times that I get to showcase my work like galleries and exhibitions for an example.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can support me in multitude of ways. Asking for a photoshoot, sharing my work to other people, etc.
