Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Grover.
Hi Nikki, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I didn’t start out thinking I’d own a permanent jewelry business—I kind of built my way into it.
I’ve always been someone who has a lot going on at once. I have a background in accounting and business, so I naturally think in systems, numbers, and how things can run better. At the same time, I’ve always been drawn to creative, people-facing work too.
Permanent jewelry started as something fun that I could do with my daughter. We liked the idea of creating something meaningful for people—something they could wear every day and attach a memory to. What I didn’t expect was how quickly it would grow and how much I’d enjoy the connection side of it.
From there, it turned into more than just a side thing. We started doing pop-ups, private parties, and events around the Athens area, and really focused on creating an experience—not just selling jewelry. I’ve spent a lot of time refining pricing, simplifying choices for customers, and making sure what we offer actually feels high-quality and worth it.
At the same time, I’m still building other businesses and apps, so I’m constantly balancing the creative side with the operational side. That’s honestly where I thrive—figuring out how to make things run smoother while still keeping it personal.
Now, it’s grown into something that’s not just about jewelry—it’s about creating moments for people, building something with my daughter, and turning ideas into real, working businesses.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.
One of the biggest challenges has been building something consistent in a business that’s very event-based and unpredictable. Some weekends are packed, and others are slower, so I had to learn quickly how to plan, price, and market in a way that keeps income more stable.
Another challenge was figuring out how to stand out in a space that’s getting more crowded. Not all permanent jewelry is the same, but customers don’t always know that at first. So I’ve had to be really intentional about quality, pricing structure, and how I present everything so it feels simple, elevated, and worth it.
Time has also been a big factor. I’m balancing multiple businesses and family life, so I’ve had to get very disciplined about systems and not wasting time on things that don’t actually move the needle. I’ve also had seasons where life outside of business added a lot of pressure, which made it even more important for me to build something stable and intentional.
There have definitely been moments where things felt overwhelming, but those are usually the moments that forced me to get more focused, simplify what I’m doing, and build something that actually works long-term instead of just getting by day-to-day.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We’re a permanent jewelry business based in the Athens area, and what we really focus on is creating an experience—not just selling a piece of jewelry.
We offer custom-fit, clasp-free bracelets, anklets, necklaces, and body chains that are welded on for everyday wear. We do pop-ups, private parties, and events, so a lot of what we do is centered around moments—girls’ days, birthdays, bridal showers, or just people wanting something meaningful they can keep on.
What sets us apart is how intentional we are with both quality and simplicity. Not all permanent jewelry is the same, and that’s something we take seriously. We focus on offering solid options—like gold-filled, sterling silver, and solid gold—while also recently adding PVD for more affordable, durable choices. Everything is structured in a way that makes it easy for customers to understand what they’re getting without feeling overwhelmed.
We’ve also put a lot of thought into pricing and selection. Instead of offering hundreds of chains, we keep a curated selection so people can make decisions quickly but still feel like they’re getting something unique and high-end.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the balance we’ve created. It feels elevated and put-together, but still approachable. We work with a wide range of customers—from teens at events to moms and professionals—and we’ve built something that fits all of them without losing its identity.
At the end of the day, we want people to leave with more than just jewelry. We want them to feel like they had a good experience, felt taken care of, and got something that actually lasts and means something to them.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something people are usually surprised to learn is that I’m a mom of five—and I also ride motorcycles.
Most people see the business side or the events and don’t realize how much I’m balancing behind the scenes. Being a mom of five has honestly shaped how I run everything. It’s forced me to be efficient, make quick decisions, and focus on what actually matters.
The motorcycle side is kind of the opposite energy, but it fits me just as much. I like building things and creating structure, but I also like a little freedom and edge. I think both sides show up in my brand—it’s put-together and intentional, but still fun and not overly rigid.
