Rising Stars: Meet Isley Malone of Lawrenceville (Gwinnett County)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isley Malone.

Hi Isley, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Isley Malone: The Brand Building Boss

At 40 years old, Isley Malone is stepping into one of the most impactful seasons of his life — not just as a leader, but as a visionary entrepreneur helping others bring their brands to life.

Known by many as “The Brand Building Boss,” Malone has spent the last several years quietly building a reputation for turning ideas into identities. Through graphic design, apparel printing, marketing, branding, and creative direction, he has helped countless businesses, creators, athletes, and entrepreneurs establish brands that stand out and leave a lasting impact.

What began as a creative outlet eventually became purpose.

“Over the years, I realized I wasn’t just designing logos,” Malone says. “I was helping people believe in themselves and build something meaningful.”

A graduate of Central Gwinnett High School, where he was known as a standout athlete in basketball and football, Malone’s journey has been anything but traditional. After spending years working as an auto technician and later working within Gwinnett County Public Schools, he discovered that entrepreneurship was where he truly found peace and purpose.

Over the last decade, Malone has continued growing his business while helping others grow theirs. One of his most recognized projects came through working with Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, creating a personal brand logo for Sanders before his rise to national stardom.

“To watch someone’s brand grow from the beginning and see where it becomes years later is an amazing feeling,” Malone says. “It reminds me that the work we do creatively can really change lives.”

For Malone, branding is bigger than graphics or marketing — it is about legacy. His passion comes from helping people discover their identity, sharpen their vision, and confidently present themselves to the world.

That mindset is what earned him the nickname “The Brand Building Boss.”

Whether working with athletes, entrepreneurs, businesses, or everyday people chasing a dream, Malone believes every person has something valuable inside of them worth building.

“A lot of people deal with setbacks, but I’ve learned those setbacks are really setups for something greater,” he says. “When people count you out, don’t stop believing in yourself. God has a way of turning struggles into opportunities bigger than you imagined.”

Today, Malone continues to inspire through both his creativity and his story. More than a designer or entrepreneur, he has become a builder of confidence, vision, and opportunity for others. Through faith, consistency, and an unshakable belief in people, Isley Malone is proving that branding is not just about business — it is about helping others see the greatness within themselves.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As a young black man in America no road is smooth in life. My view is to take what comes my way and embrace it to the fullest. I tell myself and others to “Handle the things you can control, & the things you can’t don’t worry about it.” Once I started to look at life that way it all became more clear on the moves I needed to make.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The article that I had in the Gwinnett Daily Post Jan. 2025 called me “A Man Of Many Talents” and I fell that is me to the T. I have gone through so much in my life and everything has tough me a lesson. I started out promoting parties and that led me down the path of learning graphic design. That brought me a long way and brought me so many clients. From that Point I became the “Brand Building Boss” creating the looks and logos for some serious entrepreneurs. One of my biggest clients is now Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders. I did the logo for his SS2 Legendary brand that he has had since 2020. I am a pure hustler and go getter and I thank God for setting me on the path that I am on.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Talking about books I have my ebook that I am pushing with over 80 downloads called “A Hustlers Hand E-Book’ that people can download from my website BrandBuildingBossX.com
