Hi Jessica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hello, I’m Jessica Kelley, founder of Beyond Dreams Travel Co.. Travel has always been a huge part of my life, but what started as a personal passion eventually became the career I truly feel I was meant to have. Long before I officially entered the travel industry, I was the person friends and family called when they needed help planning the perfect vacation. I loved diving into the details, researching destinations, comparing resorts, building itineraries, and finding those special touches that turn a trip into an unforgettable experience.

Over the last ten years, I’ve had the privilege of helping families, couples, honeymooners, and solo travelers create memories they’ll cherish forever. Along the way, I’ve become a specialist in Disney destinations, Universal Parks, ocean and river cruises, expedition travel, and luxury all-inclusive escapes like Sandals and Beaches Resorts. What I love most is getting to know my clients personally so I can design vacations that truly fit their dreams, travel style, and budget.

In 2024, I took a leap of faith and launched Beyond Dreams Travel Co. with one mission in mind: to make travel planning exciting, stress-free, and completely personalized. Whether it’s a magical family getaway, a romantic honeymoon, or the adventure of a lifetime, I believe every trip should feel effortless from the very first conversation. For me, it’s never just about booking a vacation, it’s about helping people create moments they’ll talk about for years to come.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has been incredibly rewarding, but like any meaningful career, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges in the travel industry is that it’s constantly evolving. Policies change, new destinations emerge, and unexpected world events can shift the entire landscape overnight. To give my clients the best possible experience, I’ve had to stay adaptable, informed, and always ready to pivot when needed.

Another challenge has been balancing entrepreneurship with family life. I’m a wife and homeschooling mom to teenagers, so I deeply understand how valuable time together is and how important it is to make every vacation count. Wearing all of those hats has taught me how to stay organized, flexible, and intentional, qualities that now directly benefit my clients when I’m planning their trips.

I’ve also found that many people don’t fully realize what a travel advisor actually does. We do so much more than simply book vacations. We become advocates, problem-solvers, researchers, and trusted guides throughout the entire process. My goal is to remove the stress from travel planning so my clients can focus on the excitement and the memories ahead. Whether it’s finding the perfect resort, navigating unexpected changes, or adding those special personalized touches, I love creating experiences that feel seamless, exciting, and truly unforgettable.

At Beyond Dreams Travel Co., I specialize in creating customized vacations that are as stress-free as they are unforgettable. My goal is to take the overwhelm out of planning and replace it with excitement, confidence, and personalized service from start to finish. Whether clients are dreaming of a magical Disney vacation, an epic Universal adventure, a relaxing luxury all-inclusive escape, or a once-in-a-lifetime cruise, I help turn those travel dreams into seamless experiences.

I’m especially known for my attention to detail and the relationships I build with my clients. I don’t believe travel should be “one size fits all.” Every family, couple, and traveler is different, so I take the time to truly understand what matters most to them, from budget and travel style to the little details that make a trip extra special. My clients know they can trust me not only to plan their vacation, but also to guide them every step of the way.

My specialties include Disney destinations, Universal Parks, ocean and river cruises, expedition cruises, and luxury all-inclusive resorts like Sandals and Beaches. I also stay current on industry changes, promotions, and destination updates so my clients always have access to the best recommendations and experiences available.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I think risk-taking often looks very different than people imagine. It’s not always about making huge, impulsive decisions, sometimes it’s about believing in yourself enough to step outside of your comfort zone and trust your experience, passion, and vision.

One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was launching Beyond Dreams Travel Co. in 2024. After spending years building experience in the travel industry and helping clients plan unforgettable vacations, I made the decision to create a brand that truly reflected my own values and approach to client care. Starting a business while also being a wife, homeschooling mom, and balancing everyday life definitely felt intimidating at times, but I knew I wanted to build something meaningful, something centered around personalized service, relationships, and helping people create lasting memories.

The travel industry itself also requires a willingness to embrace uncertainty. Travel trends shift, the world changes quickly, and every client has unique needs and expectations. You have to be adaptable, creative, and willing to learn constantly. I’ve learned that growth usually happens when you’re willing to take thoughtful risks and trust the process, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed.

At the same time, I don’t believe risk-taking means jumping into things blindly. I’m someone who researches, prepares, and plans carefully, which probably makes sense considering my profession. I see risk as taking a leap while still being intentional and informed. That mindset has helped me grow both personally and professionally, and it’s something I try to encourage in my clients too. Some of the best memories and experiences in life happen when we’re willing to step outside of our routine and explore something new.
