Today we’d like to introduce you to MuthaUniverse.

Hi MuthaUniverse, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am born Kyomi Weatherspoon blessed to be known as Mutha Universe. I have a background in early childhood education, Jazz and Classical bass performer but with the way the most high works I have been able to expand my artistic skills and knowledge to culinary focused on vegan and plant based cuisine and community impact through event curation, massage therapy and sound healing. Living here in Atlanta is it’s own special hub to grow and expand and meet anyone of any background which has help me sharpen my skills and get a better understanding of what not only my community needs but how can the energy I put out heal others around the world . This passion has led me to host Festivals, Friendsgiving events, Retreats and Raves here in Atlanta. All of what I create starts from source the Most High God blessing me with the strength and guidance to try and to keep trying for the betterment of the mind body and soul. With every plate, dance, and laugh it’s to leave feeling realigned and restore to your center. Remembering that what you do should be for fun.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No good story starts off with rainbows
I am an only child so the Most High really had guide my confidence and courage to where it is today and some days I still do feel like that shy little girl from before. My past is my testimony not my burden or my reason to shorten my self but my reason to keep going no matter what. I have had ideas , events, friends change and show there true colors when I thought I had a real sense of community but as hard as that may have been to keep going and not give in to doubt, I know that everything changes once you change your mindset

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a well rounded individual with a deep love of the art, music, food and expression. I have been a private chef model jewelry maker, only black bassist, event curator and healer and all of which has shaped me into the woman I am today. As of now I specialize in Feminine Creativity Expression and Rage with a Rave experience named F9 FEMI-NINE afterdark, a experience I have always wanted to grow more into and live out loud that the Divine Feminine craves a safe space to release trauma frustration and freedom in a man made world. F9 has granted me the pleasure of connecting with amazing women and men around Atlanta that not only understand the rare beauty of a woman’s rage but the necessity. I am very proud to be one of the women here providing a safe space to feel sexy sensual understood and free
