Check Out Saint Jerome’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Saint Jerome.

Hi Saint Jerome, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
There’s so much I could say, but at the core of it all, I’m a creative. I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York, and living there surrounded me with culture, creativity, and inspiration. I spent a lot of time going to museums and gallery openings, which opened my eyes to the world of visual art.

Music was my first love. I taught myself how to play drums, and after moving to the Poconos area in Pennsylvania, where I attended junior high and high school, my friend Mike Shaw introduced me to music production. That introduction opened up another creative lane for me and helped me see how many different ways there are to express yourself.

I’ve always been drawn to new challenges, so eventually I taught myself how to paint by studying the work of artists and famous paintings that inspired me. Over time, painting became another language for me — another way to express what I was feeling and seeing. I also write poetry, and in high school, I wanted to become a professional skateboarder, so creativity has always shown up in different forms throughout my life.

I’ve done a lot, but right now my main focus is on art, modeling, and building my fashion brand, SAINT JEROME. Everything I’ve experienced, both creatively and personally, has helped shape where I am today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve faced a lot of challenges and learned many lessons the hard way. At times, it felt like I had been through it all, but those experiences helped shape my mindset and made me stronger.

A lot of my struggles were financial. Growing up, I wasn’t really taught how to earn money outside of the traditional path of working a job and getting a paycheck. But I always knew I wanted more for myself. I wanted ownership, freedom, and the ability to create my own opportunities.

Along the way, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and wisdom through life experience, reading every day, and seeking mentorship in personal development and success. Those struggles pushed me to keep learning, growing, and becoming the person I’m meant to be.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is centered around creativity, visual storytelling, and self-expression. Right now, my main focus is painting, fashion, and modeling. I’ve always been drawn to visuals, and I think people connect with the way I see things creatively. I consider myself a visionary because I’m always thinking about how art, style, culture, and identity can come together.

Being exposed to the art world helped shape my eye as an artist and deepened my appreciation for painting. My background in music also plays a role in how I approach creativity. Interning at a recording studio and with Sony at Columbia Records gave me a broader perspective on creativity, business, and the entertainment industry.

At this stage, I’m still building and evolving, so it’s hard for me to point to one thing I’m most proud of. I’m very hard on myself, but that also pushes me to keep improving. I’m constantly learning, networking, and growing, especially here in Atlanta.

What sets me apart is my professional approach, my discipline, and the way I carry myself every day. I take my creativity seriously, and I’m focused on building something that reflects who I am across art, fashion, and culture.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like best about Atlanta is the Southern hospitality, the convenience, and the sense of possibility here. Atlanta feels like a city where you can build something for yourself if you stay disciplined, stay focused, and put in the time required to reach your goals. There’s a lot of creative energy here, and I’ve been able to meet and connect with people from different industries.

What I like least would probably be the traffic. Atlanta is definitely growing and getting more crowded. There are also a lot of distractions because there’s always something going on, whether it’s events, nightlife, or places to be. But overall, I appreciate Atlanta because it’s a city full of opportunity if you know how to stay focused and grounded.
