Check Out Brandon Moreira’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Moreira.

Hi Brandon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began filmmaking as a kid making funny videos of myself and my brother on a webcam. Playing with action figures felt like a movie to me, and I would have seasons of story behind the scenes I would play out.

Growing up in West Harlem, New Jersey, and Georgia, I was exposed to many different forms of culture, music and art, and had grown a passion for producing beats on FL Studio in my sophomore year of high school after hearing Pierre Bourne’s production on “Magnolia”.

After producing for a while and making small occasional skits, I shifted my focus to being a musical artist during college, releasing music alongside co-founding 13 Roses and collaborating with an outstanding team to build a community for genuine and positive-minded creators in Atlanta.

Throughout college I made music videos, creative photoshoots, graphic flyers, and helped bring concerts, fashion shows, and film festivals to life!

Today I am going back to my roots and following my passions in filmmaking and I currently aspire to create independent works of visual storytelling. Whether that be in commercials, event recaps, or short films, I founded Chit Chat Productions with the goal of creating work that transcends content into conversation.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing worthwhile is ever just easy. I know how much my path means to me and the people around me because of all the hardships and pain it takes to get there. I feel like all creatives, and people in general, go through a period of struggle at the point they are meant to persevere. Keep going!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a visual storyteller who captures memories through photography, videography, and graphic design.

I currently focus on event recaps, creative photography, and commercials/short visual content.

My goal for each project I undertake is to make something that people talk about.

I also make music as well, something I am excited about is integrating my visual storytelling into my upcoming EP Feel.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family and friends kept a home for me everywhere this crazy life has taken me. And honestly seeing how far everyone involved in the 13 Roses community has grown pushes me to continue the pursuit of passion and impacting others positively.
