Meet Muhammad Rasheed of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Muhammad Rasheed.

Hi Muhammad, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my life as a photographer 10 years ago, when my mother purchased my first camera. After I received my camera, I spent the next years working on my craft. I shot everything from weddings to street photography to full blown sport campaigns. A life full of adventure and growth with my craft.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There has definitely been some challenges. I have had times where my creativeness took a downward spiral. Where my drive for photography died and I had to revive it back through sheer will and passion.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I started life as a wedding photographer but now I mainly focus on lifestyle and street photography. I proud to have had the opportunity to host an exhibit of my work and also have a photography book go on sale as well. I believe my creative passion is what sets me apart from the average photographer.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I have taken a few risks when it comes to my work. I am ever so often changing my style of photography and wondering if it will be perceived well. I believe in order for there to be true growth risks must be taken to get better.
