Today we’d like to introduce you to Broderick Bozeman.
Broderick, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I started Kreative Dimensions back in 2006. At the time the company was very different. It was during my years of High School and I have always been inspired and driven by the sneaker culture. So, in the 10th grade, I began painting my own sneakers to match with different outfits. 1 turned into 2, and 2 turned into fellow classmates asking me to paint them a pair, hence KRTVD was born. As the years passed, my business grew tremendously, connecting me with a few local stores that allowed me to sell merchandise in their shop as well as online orders. During the process of customizing shoes, I always draw a mock-up of the shoe and show it to the customer for confirmation.
Sometimes I would have to make changes to those drawings, so I’d have to start completely over and draw another one. This sparked a thought, of how could I draw these shoes on a computer and make the changes that way…surely it has to be easier. So, I began testing a few graphic design programs, learning the craft at home. I’ve been in art classes my entire life, but never in computer form. Years went by, I got better and better and graphic design, and eventually the company was transitioned into strictly that. Today KRTVD still stands as a Southern Based company built on inspiration from the things around me. I’d hope my artwork speaks for itself. Thanks for everything!
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
Kreative Dimensions a Graphic Design Entity that uses any and all things as inspiration to deliver a high-quality design that represents your brand at its best. We create branding identity, including logos, fashion designs, promo product and many other aspects that a business needs in this day and time. The internet and Social media are the biggest tools for launching and promoting a business and we try to create the tools for you to work.
Within that, I have a bundle of products that are designs I’ve created from different things I see one day to day basis. A lot of my inspiration is drawn from the sneaker culture. I’ve indulged in sneakers for as long as I could afford them, and with over 300 pair of shoes, they’re a real huge part of my life. So, you’ll see a lot of urban, sneaker, southern inspired designs within my personal products. Being able to apply my culture to a creative side of the world is amazing for me.
I really enjoy finishing a project for a client, whether it be a logo or whatever, and at that moment now someone else can launch a company or idea that I’m sure they’re worked hard on. I make sure I apply just as much passion into the design I’m doing for that client.
Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
Never stop creating! The world needs it
