Art & Life with Hollywood Bangers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hollywood Bangers.

Please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I feel like seeing success through music was the only option from the very beginning, I was introduced to creating music early on in my life. I remember times when I would sit in my uncle’s room all day watching him dj until he eventually let me hold down an Akai MPD. From this point on, I fell in love with creating music and expressing my emotions through it. After playing around with FL Studios for a few years, I ended up landing 2 of my biggest hits. At this point, I was a junior in high school with a Kevin Gates placement with over 50 million streams. I knew that there was no returning from this point; the only way was NORTH. Since then, I’ve made it my goal to not only work with the most talented artists but to also develop tomorrows superstars.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
First things first I’m a producer/artist. If you know me, then you would know that FL Studio is a way of life. The crazy thing is, I actually have the logo tatted on me, so I always remember where I came from. For the most part, I would describe my music to capture pain. When I’m not making pain music, Im working on something that will put you into your bag. In my opinion, music is a way to escape reality; pave the way for the future; and most importantly, it is a way to express yourself and portray your image. One thing I would hope for people to take from the art is that consistency is KEY. Music really taught me to never give up no matter how long it takes or how bumpy the road gets. If you truly love something to the point that you would do it for free, you need to give it your all and continuously put in 110% to make sure that you are doing what the next person wouldn’t. My music represents precision, dedication, and passion.

Artists rarely, if ever pursue art for the money. Nonetheless, we all have bills and responsibilities, and many aspiring artists are discouraged from pursuing art due to financial reasons. Any advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective artists?
Some major gems I can give is to SAVE YOUR MONEY. I know it’s easy to get lost in the sauce, but it’s important to make sure that you are prepared for anything that may come up. This music industry requires you to jump unexpectedly and has you on your toes at all times. So it’s important to find your avenues to make sure you are financially set as well as leaving yourself time to still create. Some people have a habit of overworking themselves with things that take away from the time they can be creating. It’s fine to have a 9-5 job to secure your bag, but at the end of the day, if you want to be the boss of your day to day life, it is important to still find time to allocate to music every day. Progression is key, and by being consistent while growing your brand, you’re going to be one step closer to increasing your profits. Always look for multiple streams of income to put you ahead of the curve, Think creatively, whether you are producing new wave loop kits, working on a custom beat or running studio time, make sure that you can tap into different revenue markets. You never know which avenue you can thrive in the most.
