Today we’d like to introduce you to Leonardo Evi.
Leonardo, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I am a Miami born and raised fashion designer who left the hard life of liberty city to pave a way not only for me but the people around me given our culture the hope that they have lost and allowing my struggle to be a trendsetting way to show kids and adults you don’t have to settle for less unless you want to sometimes we got to tap in to our souls and really harvest that answer was I made to be here or there is this how my story goes.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
My clothing line is Called ÉEVAEVI I started this clothing line for multiple reasons I lost my daughter when she was being born and she changed the way I viewed life and then I prayed and ask my god how can I become first because I was tired of being last.so many people said oh they won’t buy your stuff it’s too expensive and then I embarked on the greatest idea no high end luxe designer would do give out free gifts with the same purchase all year round I have seen epic fails in my platforms but experienced flawless victories and I still stay in a hotel doing all of this the meaning of this brand is life and breathing what do people live for I ask my clients about their life stories and I share mine and that’s how you create beautiful stories and that’s what I am about
Do you think conditions are generally improving for artists? What more can cities and communities do to improve conditions for artists?
For artist there was no actual platform created it was just people doing their own thing and leaving no clues as to how its only easy because you got technology like myself I built everything off of my metro pcs and people would not believe I did it but I taught myself and vowed to give out the keys to the willing and the only way to build up another fellow artist is to compare who is the farthest in success and trade info on certain ideas and encourage people to collab if you are a fashion designer collab with another fashion designer like rappers do if you are a rapper versatile tour word play like comic books we all can share the same color money if we just network and believe that we can build one another up.
