Today we’d like to introduce you to LaShawn Butler.
Hi LaShawn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started out as a licensed Nail Tech in 2015. I was trying to figure out what I really love to do (and it was to make people feel good and look beautiful). I decided to go back to school for Aesthetician. I finish Esthetic school in 2017 and decide to open up me a salon suite it took some time to get myself ready to be a business owner. So in 2019, I open up LB Beauty Bar salon suite because of my passion for skin, beauty and restore skin health. I wanted to help people see the essence of beauty by confidence and maintaining result-oriented services for indefinite skin health. I business is located in Midtown Atlanta.
My business was effect during the CoVid-19. Clients began suspending services. I prayed it through (I was worried about my business) and when it was time to open back up, I made it through so I started to relax and focus on me and my mindset. I have learned to slow down and look how far I have come. Through it all LB Beauty Bar is still surviving through this pandemic. It’s still a Lil slow but as I get busier, I will adjust accordingly, keeping my foundation strong as I continue to build. I look forward to the continued growth of my business. And to help my clients to relax, release and renew their skin through my services.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road because of the CoVid-19 Pandemic. Clients has suspended their appointments and the city had to shut down for some weeks. Some of my clients are just now rebooked because we are able to open back up with guidance from the CDC. So everyone can be safe while we continue to work.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
