Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrianna Tew.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into nail artistry began in July 2020 during the pandemic, a time when I was searching for something creative and fulfilling. What started as a small business venture quickly turned into a passion after watching hours of nail videos and learning the art behind designs and acrylic application.
After placing my first supply order, I realized nails were more challenging than I expected. Nevertheless, that only fueled my love for the craft. I dedicated myself to practicing on an artificial hand and individual fingers, focusing on shaping, apex building, and growth. With consistency, patience, and time, I built enough confidence to begin offering services to family and friends.
I attended nail school and graduated, going on to take state board. I passed both the written theory and practical exam on the first try. I have now been licensed in the state of Georgia for two full years.
Today, that same dedication continues to shape my work. Each set I create reflects my commitment to quality, creativity, and making each and every client feel confident and beautiful.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This journey has been far from smooth, but each challenge has played a role in shaping me into a better nail technician. One of the biggest obstacles has been standing out in a highly competitive industry, while also building and maintaining a loyal clientele. Staying consistent, furthering my education, and keeping up with evolving and repeating nail trends has required patience, discipline, and dedication.
Despite these challenges, each experience has pushed me to grow creatively and professionally, reinforcing the commitment to the craft and my clients.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in acrylic and gel nail services, with a strong focus on detailed shaping and creative art flow. I’m best known for my junk charm sets, where I combine my client’s vision with my own ideas to create balance.
What I’m most proud of is the growth I’ve experienced as a nail artist over the years. I take pride in providing exceptional customer service, listening closely to my clients, and bringing their visions to life. My flexibility, attention to detail, and commitment to making each client feel comfortable and valued are what truly set me apart from others.
How do you define success?
Defining success as a nail technician is more than just numbers to me. It’s about growth, impact, consistency, and the impression you leave on others. Success means continuing to evolve, improve, and acquire meaningful relationships along the way.
