Today we’d like to introduce you to Alani Prince.

Hi Alani, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Alani Prince im 23 years old from Philadelphia Pa. I moved to Atlanta in May of 2024 with $1100 my car and my hair supplies. My goal was to build a clientele in the music and streaming industry by working with up coming artist and streamers. I faced alot of obstacles moving here but none that made me give up. Ive had to start over plenty of times but i am somewhat satisfied where i am today but there is always room for improvement . I decided in August 2025 that i was going to lock in and focus 100% on my business and my brand. Since then my clientele has definitely increased and i’m building a social media presence.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely been rocky. I moved here with no where to go originally. Thanks to my aunt she let me stay with her until i was able to get my own place. i’ve worked in bars , restaurants, retail stores. i had surgery on my wrist and i was in 2 car accidents all since i moved to atlanta

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a cosmetologist and master loctician. I specialize in loc care/ maintenance. i have 6 years of loc experience and i have been licensed for 3 years.

How do you define success?
success to me is continuing when most people would have given up, while doing what makes me happy and keeps me at peace.
