Today we’d like to introduce you to Ameriah (Sydney) Moon.
Hi Ameriah (Sydney), can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my journey as a stay-at-home mother with two children under the age of two. Like many women, I poured everything I had into caring for others—often at the expense of myself. One day, I found myself lying in bed, unable to get up despite the long list of responsibilities waiting for me. I remember thinking, “I can’t afford to be sick and tired. I have too much to do.”
In that quiet moment, I heard a different question arise: “But what about you? What about taking care of your needs?” That question stopped me in my tracks. I realized I wasn’t lazy or unmotivated—I was burned out. Years of over-giving and over-pouring had left me with very little left for myself.
That day became a turning point. I made a decision to become more present with myself, to show up for my own needs, and to be intentional with my time, energy, and healing. From that single, pivotal choice, Viciously You Collection was born—a brand rooted in self-care, restoration, and the belief that tending to yourself is not selfish, but necessary.
What began as a personal commitment to my own well-being has grown into a mission to help other women reconnect with themselves and prioritize their wholeness unapologetically.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. While starting my business was exciting, it was also incredibly daunting. I had no formal background in entrepreneurship beyond small childhood experiences, and when it came time to build a business of my own, I truly started from scratch. I had to learn everything—from structuring a brand to navigating the realities of entrepreneurship—by building myself and my business from the ground up.
One of my greatest struggles was learning how to balance ambition with self-care. I entered entrepreneurship already coming from a place of burnout, and there were moments when I questioned whether I was doing enough or moving fast enough. Managing self-doubt while simultaneously being responsible for my family and my vision was challenging, especially during seasons when progress felt slow or unclear.
The journey has required a great deal of dedication, perseverance, and sacrifice. I poured blood, sweat, and tears into my brand, often learning lessons through trial and error. However, those challenges shaped me into a stronger, more resilient founder.
Along the way, I’ve met incredible people, gained invaluable insight, and learned to trust my own process. I’ve embraced building as I go, understanding that growth doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Through the most difficult moments, consistency became my greatest strength—and it continues to guide me forward.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am the founder and creative force behind Viciously You Collection, a self-care and wellness brand rooted in restoration, intention, and emotional well-being. My work blends creativity, ritual, and healing to help women reconnect with themselves through intentional products and experiences. I specialize in creating self-care tools—such as natural skincare and ritual oils—that support grounding, emotional regulation, and self-connection.
What I am most proud of is building a brand that was born from lived experience. Every product and offering is created with intention, meaning, and a deeper purpose beyond aesthetics. My work reflects the belief that self-care is not a luxury, but a necessary practice—especially for women who are accustomed to over-giving.
What sets me apart is the authenticity behind my brand. I don’t create from trends; I create from truth. My approach is deeply personal, intuitive, and rooted in real healing. I prioritize presence, consistency, and purpose in everything I do, allowing my work to evolve naturally as I grow. Viciously You Collection is not just a brand—it’s a reflection of choosing yourself, honoring your capacity, and creating space to restore what life often asks us to give away.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
There are several ways to work with, collaborate with, or support my work. Individuals can support Viciously You Collection by engaging with and sharing the brand, purchasing intentional self-care products, and participating in offerings that center restoration and self-connection.
For collaboration, I’m open to working with creatives, wellness brands, event organizers, and organizations aligned with self-care, healing, and community well-being. This includes product collaborations, wellness events, pop-ups, brand features, and creative partnerships rooted in intention and authenticity.
I also host healing events and experiential gatherings, both independently and in collaboration with partners. These events are designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and intentional rest through curated, grounding experiences.

I would love to give a special shout-out to my daughters, Summer and Skylar, who were 8 and 9 years old at the time, for shooting my brand photoshoot and creating such a beautiful and intentional studio experience.
