Check Out Angelo’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelo.

Hi Angelo, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started out my acting career doing extra work on movie sets gaining a feel for the environment and the production and seeing how it all works so I can be prepared for when it’s my time to be on the big stage. After I was comfortable, I started auditioning for different movies and tv shows where I landed some parts as a feature or role. While I was doing that I was auditioning for short films around Atlanta and booked 3, I personally like short films/independent films because it shows how talented other people are in this world and if you can work together, you can make it to the top together. So I did those films all great sets good vibes! Now I’m in the process of auditioning for Major roles while also doing the others. I’ve been working on my craft for a while I’ve shocked a lot of people on sets I’d say it’s that time i just go for it and don’t look back I’m confident I’ll make it I have god and my family that’s all I need!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t say it was smooth or rocky but I haven’t really dealt with any big struggles in my career with acting so far other than not being picked for a role or not have worked on a set for a long time.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an actor/model, but I’m most known for my TikTok I’ve gained over 1.2M views on two videos and gained about 50k followers. I’ve worked on short films around Atlanta & have modeled for several clothing brands. I’m mostly proud of how far I came and the progress I’ve made it took a lot to get here; everyone doesn’t get the opportunity to step in this field of work. I’m laid back. I think that really separates me from others. I don’t really go out or anything; I’m either working on my craft or in the house.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
My advice for networking is showing up to as many events as you can and meet people even if you’re shy, it’ll be worth it in the end one of those contacts could change your life one day.
