Today we’d like to introduce you to Aranda Jenkins.
Hi Aranda, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started at the end of 2020. I knew for a long time I wanted to start my own clothing brand and because the world was at a stand still during this time I took the opportunity. I started under my first brands name Aboriginal The Brand I was under this name for the first 4 years. I started doing pop ups around the city one of the biggest ones during that time which included Bonfireatl. This is where I met alot of dope people. I started to randomly see people around the city rocking my handmade hats it was such a great feeling. At the end of 2024 IG took my page down which became extremely discouraging. But I didnt give up it actually gave me a reason to rebrand. Now my brand name is Demigods Vanguard. I’ve now stepped into the manufacturing world which takes my clothes to another level of quality. But still being the designer and occasionally still handcrafting hats as well. Putting out some of the dopest hats in the city is one of my biggest goals for now. I’ve been through alot these last few years with my brand. Alot of changes which sometimes made me want to give up but im constantly reminded that I cant do that. Headed into 2026 I expect to be the best ive ever been.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Instagram being taken down after 4 years of building an audience.
No sales at certain points and having to figure out a better business structure which im still working on.
