Today we’d like to introduce you to Armando Rincon.
Hi Armando, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
When I was younger my dream was to be a professional baseball player, I did that over 14 years of my life and I couldn’t achieve it because I had an injury on my right shoulder so that was a big life learning in my life. Years later I arrived in US in december 2020 after pandemic. I started create content back in my country but when I got here it was a big and new challenge for me because it was totally different not only the content creation thing I’m talking about everything it was a 360 turn for my life because when you immigrate your life becomes 100% different. Also I was alone here, back home I used to create content with my friends or maybe someone I known would help me doing videos but here wasn’t that way so I had to start building a confident between my family and me which I didn’t have back home about doing content. Despite they were my family I was kinda shy to ask them to help me with my content so that’s why I did it with my friends and here I started building that confident bone between us so the more I did that the merrier for me. However it’s been a long and not easy path doing content, people think is only grab a phone and record or post something and it’s way more than that, since the beginning I knew this wasn’t going to be so easy but I wanted to do it so bad, it is one of those things that you enjoy so much doing it that regardless how hard was going to be it didn’t matter to me. I started to create my own community with my content and meeting new people that were in the same industry, I have never stopped doing content since I started and that is something that I’m happy about myself because like I said it’s not easy so I have had been bad days and good days. Content creation world is a roller coaster, today you might be at the top but tomorrow you might go to the bottom and that’s the moment when you pull yourself together and no matter what you’re going through you gotta keep it up because I have done that so many times. It’s about always keep trying and I have gotten my own rewards for doing that, like meeting the guy that inspired me to do content, he also followed me ever since, same with other people that maybe at some point I felt motivated to. Fast forward to last 2 years I have had the opportunity to collaborate with brands and people that I always wanted to do, in 2024 I spent a lot of time learning everything about podcast production, podcast equipment, basically how to make a podcast because I’d always liked that, like being in front of a camera with a microphone I felt like those things really matched with me, also because back home in 2019 I worked as a event animation, all types of events so that helped me to feel that confident with myself and we were kinda having these podcast era and I wanted to be there. So for over 9 months I learned and purchased everything I needed to start my own podcast on YouTube which I did on February 2025 and it’s been good so far, I have had the pleasure to have some guest on my episodes that I never thought I could have them so early in my show, Chente Ydrach from Puerto Rico was one of them which is really important to say that he’s the one who inspired to do my own podcast because I always watched his podcasts over the years so have him was literally a dream come true. Even though I have done collaboration with brands and people with lots of followers and now doing my podcast I still feel like my career is just beginning, I always want more, this is something that really needs time to work out because nothing that you can get really fast is something that will be worth. I keep creating content, trying to explore and do new things to connect with my people with my followers and be someone for them, someone that can make them laugh or feel like they can do or achieve whatever they want too
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like I said before, this world is a roller coaster so I have had my ups and downs, I would lie to yall if I said that I have never thought on quitting, because when you get frustrated that’s is something that might go over your head but that’s a moment when you define yourself as a person, if you quit you’re a quitter then and will never achieve anything in your life because nothing in this life is easy, and rough times are necessary in our life, those moments help us to appreciate more when we achieve it
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a content creator, in all ways because right now I’m doing content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, I have learned that if you want to success you gotta be everywhere and everything. Mostly my content is about comedy, such as stuff that might happen on a daily life, or comedy sketches about funny topics, that has been my main focus along the years but like I said I’ve been trying to explore new things because as a content creator you gotta try lots of things. What am I most proud of? Me and only me. Cause despite everything I have always keep believing in myself, and I feel like when you’re chasing a dream a lot people quit halfway there because they just tired and I have had felt the same way but didn’t quit and won’t either. What I would think that sets me apart from others is that I always try to do the best content, in production I meant, like I try to do different shots perfect edition maybe punchline at the end, Im not saying my content is perfect or the best but that’s what I try and I have seen different content creators that don’t
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I would say being consistent. Because I have been doing content since 2020 and I have never stopped and if I would’ve I wouldn’t achieved what I have done so far. I know people that have had a quick success because social medias in 2025 works that way, it can get someone viral in 1 day but everyone has different processes and I always try to understand mine
