Today we’d like to introduce you to Art by Ayala.
Hi Ayala, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m visual artist Ayala. I attended a Performing Arts high school and am classically trained in fine art. I graduated with a BFA from San Francisco’s California College of Art. By the grace of social media, I am a full-time ARTrepreneur via my art shop www.byayala.com with a growing 75K following of my art journey across Instagram and TikTok as @artbyayala.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road at all. I come from very humble beginnings and recall times when I had 3 jobs and barely enough to scrap by for the bus let alone a good meal. I have been working since I was 15 and have always strived to tap into my potential.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a visual artist, I specialize in portraits. I am known for a neon palette and knife which creates dynamic textures. I feel that I have a very important role to fill as a native woman within the world of fine art. I am most proud of my work that embraces representation to empower new generations, What sets me apart from others is my sharp eye for detail and bold use of color.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5-10 years, I see my industry changing with the use of AI art. I believe it’s important to remind the masses of human creativity and balancing working with the “new” to stay ahead of the game. I also imagine investing in art will make an impact over the years as more artists have the ability to create with the grace of social media.
