Today we’d like to introduce you to Baby Dro. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Baby Dro is a six-year-old Actor from Atlanta. Baby Dro, whose real name is Alejandro is Mexican and African American. From a young age, he showed immense talent, intelligence, and confidence. His huge light brown curly Afro has become his signature trademark, and he always steals the show.. which is how we came up with “The Baby Dro Show”. He started modeling at around age 1, but as he got older it was obvious he belonged on TV somewhere speaking his truth. He likes to produce, direct and creatively assist in all his own youtube videos. After gaining some traction on youtube, and a bunch of on-camera experience, we decided to produce his own full production show. The Baby Dro Show is an interactive and educational Kids Show which will include a few different segments including a game show, science experiments and a talk show segment where we will be inviting talented kids, influencers, and entrepreneurs from Atlanta to the show. We want to spotlight as many kids and brands or businesses that appeal to kids from our city as possible. We started rolling out a national marketing campaign since early 2021, and We expect the show to be released by summer 2022. In the meantime, Baby Dro has landed a major role in a feature film which we can’t currently discuss, but this will be a major selling point for the show, when pitched to networks. We’re expecting to have multi offers from multiple networks, as his extensive resume speaks for itself. With contracts with major companies like Delta Airlines, Google, Amazon’s Alexa echo products, many appearances in TV shows from Netflix to BET, department store print and commercial campaigns and his child influencer status, the endorsements and brand partnerships keep rolling in. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, as many parents who manage their children’s career know that there is so many scams and trial and error you have to go through you feel like you’re running around in circles,, that’ll make the average person quit. Atlanta is a hub for TV and film right now and the competition is immense, but with the right training, and taking quite a few risks along the way, he has managed to break through to the industry. He was signed to a few agencies before getting noticed by an elite “Industry referral” only agency which he recently signed an exclusive contract with, and already they’re helping his career elevate tremendously.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Baby Dro is an actor, model, influencer, YouTuber, who’s known for his huge light brown curly afro. His major focus is film and TV. But he’s just not any child actor, He is a top contender. At just 6 years old he is over excelling in his field, standing out amongst others in the industry twice his age! He’s going to be the next big thing to come out of Atlanta. While other child acts who may live here and made it big, he is an Atlanta native and ready to represent all kids from the peach state. He has worked amongst a few celebrities in Atlanta like that girl lay lay, Zaza, young dro and T.I,. while he doesn’t do music he has appeared in a few music videos. His personality is what makes anyone who meets him automatically connect with him and many people almost immediately note his superstar aura. He plans to land the next big child star role on Nickelodeon within the next few years, a goal we know he’s on track to hit! We plan on giving back to our city and spotlighting kids, brands and businesses that appeal to kids from Atlanta, on the show.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t think it’s been luck that’s gotten Baby Dro to where he is today. Consistency, Constant Practice and Training, hard work and dedication is what has elevated his career. Making investments, networking and taking risks.
