Check Out Bazma’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bazma

Hi Bazma, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always had a passion for music and entertainment. My journey began in 2016 when I began releasing music and building my presence in the industry. Over the years, my work has gained recognition, and I’ve been honored with multiple awards. I went viral in 2019, gaining recognition for my talent. However, I took a step back to focus on my education. After that break, I came back stronger, fully dedicating myself to my music career.

I released my debut pop album, +966, on January 1, 2025, which quickly gained traction. Within just six days, it topped major playlists, including #1 in Saudi Arabia on Anghami, and one of my songs nearly hit 100k views on YouTube in the first week. My work has also amassed 10 million impressions on Instagram.

Beyond just streaming numbers, I’ve been actively promoting my music through strategic marketing, all while embracing my Saudi Arabian roots in a western style. My goal is to make a lasting impact in the global music industry, and I’m just getting started.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like any artist, I’ve faced my share of challenges. In the early years, breaking into the industry and gaining recognition was tough, especially as an Arab artist trying to bridge western pop with my Saudi roots. Taking a break for my education was another challenge. I had to step away from music temporarily, and coming back meant rebuilding momentum. The industry moves fast, and staying relevant while being true to my artistry has been a balancing act.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a singer, songwriter, and artist known for blending western pop with Arabic influences, creating a unique sound that represents my Saudi roots on a global stage. Since 2016, I’ve released music, won multiple awards, and achieved milestones like topping major playlists and gaining millions of impressions.

What sets me apart is my ability to bridge two cultures, bringing Saudi representation into mainstream pop while staying authentic to my artistry. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come, from going viral in 2019 to making a strong comeback with my debut album +966. My goal is to keep pushing boundaries and making a lasting impact.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is singing and performing for my family. I loved putting on little shows, pretending I was on a big stage, and seeing their reactions. It was one of the first times I realized how much I loved music and entertaining people.
