Check Out Bella Kash’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bella Kash.

Hi Bella, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started very young performing on the streets of NYC, where I’m originally from. Also, doing contests and shows about kid’s talent. After a life-altering situation, I basically had to be self-motivated at a very young to take my destiny into my own hands. Doing most things alone and without much support or funding. Today I’m proud to say I’m in a position to offer those means of resources for kids and adults much like myself in the past.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Many kids in the system have issues throughout their youth. I was no exception. Running away from unsafe environments and dealing with constant abuse. Living situations change all the time. Living in a state where I’m culture shocked. You can imagine my head space at the time. Let’s just say I know most kids like me Don’t make it out. If we do, we leave with battle scars.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m best known as a flexible viral sensation. I train people in all forms of movement. Fitness, recovery, sports, dance, etc. I’m most proud of my kid’s dance company. I took kids with no prior training in areas where they either can’t afford the dance schools or the schools didn’t offer the diversity and structure they looked for. I’m different from others because I have no desire to sell one-size fit all ideas in classes where I’m overwhelmed with so many students, that ppl leave feeling like they gained nothing from my classes. I want to grasp a connection and create a safe space to grow and learn. No matter the background of the student.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite memory is…. Field day at school only because I looked forward to beating all the boys at every event. I am VERY competitive and ambitious. Yes, I did win All the time.
