Today we’d like to introduce you to Blake Living.
Hi Blake, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am originally from Carencro, Louisiana (Exit 4). I’m a Film Director, Graphic Designer, Podcaster, Videographer, Media correspondent, Musician, I do a lot of Ish. In 2016, I relocated to Lovejoy Georgia thanks to my homeboy Derick Dj Truth Ledet for letting me live with him for a few months until I got on my feet. I moved to Georgia based on the opportunities provided for Black entrepreneurs, and I was going back and forth a lot due to my wife being in media and doing red carpet events every month, so it made sense for me to lead the way and Derrick and I had shot our first shirt film earlier that year, so it was the right move. But in all honesty if it wasn’t for My dawg Derrick provided me with a place to stay who knows when I would have moved lol. Before the time I moved we shot two films and a movie/ music video, so we were on it. But once I moved, I was doing the media events for my wife which was cool cause I got to meet a lot of people from reality tv stars to Real Tv Stars (see what I did there) to other media personalities to music artists, and film directors. I’m someone who doesn’t brag about nothing I do. My work ethic so loud I don’t have to say a word. I never follow crowds. I just always do me and that’s what got me to where I am today. I trust God with everything I do, and never forget where I come from just forget those who try to make me believe I’m the same person they used to know. Either grow with me or get out of my way! I love to help people. I feel more accomplished when I help someone better themself or make them believe what’s impossible is possible as long as you believe. Anything I felt I can achieve, I did no matter how long it takes me. I’ll get it done!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Man, the first week I moved to Georgia someone broke into my car at a planet fitness. A month later, I wrecked my truck. The job I moved here and got lied about the pay I was supposed to make. I mean, I wanted to move back home so bad, but I got a praying mama. Caring siblings and friends, and something inside of me that wants break. If anyone thinks you can move to Atlanta and it’s a 24-hour fun fest, get that out of your head now! You have to work! A lot! You have to sacrifice a lot. You have to make time for what you came out here to do and don’t let anything get in the way of that. I made time to do anything that I know would better me to reach my goal, So I keep that same mine set tell this day.

Right now! by the time this article drops Ima need everyone to go on Tubi and watch my 3rd project titled Unexpected! I filmed, edited, myself Derrick who help with writing, but I couldn’t have got it done without my Twin Brother Blaine and homie kyrie who came in clutch to secure filming location and equipment because we didn’t have it at the time. Also, everyone who donated my sister Kitchia, lil bro Lee Big Bro Harry, My Mom and Dad! Stacey, Beezie, Jarrell, Carter, Courtney, To the cast who took time out there day to be a part of the film.
