Today we’d like to introduce you to Blossom “C.Nice” Goodluck.

Hi Blossom “C.Nice”, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So believe it or not I’m a certified electrician & didn’t think doing hair would be my passion ! I mean I know I was a creator but not a barber or stylist ! Certain things didn’t work out with me in the electrical field as far as receiving my worth but I would always do hair on the side! It got to the point where I set up shop at my apartment, was mobile for a long time, went to hair shows , signed up for school and even quit but i eventually went back and completed my 1500 hrs of practice & graduated ! It became something I began to love, excited to promote my business, had my cards out , advertise what I do and even being my own bill board from people asking me who does your locs, colors or your cut is fresh who did it, “Me” ! I worked my way up from 1 salon and 2 different barbershops to running my own suite for 3 plus years now ! It’s more than just cutting and styling hair, I believe my customer service is top tier and my clients and I have become a family & I love being there for them ! They have help me build a brand, a business to so many levels and I can’t thank them enough!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Ofcourse this journey that’s still going hasn’t been easy but nothing that I couldn’t manage cause even on my worse days or if I was going through something at home I still overcame what ever was thrown in my path ! From not getting no sleep , constant repetition of certain skills in schools ! My biggest problem at a time was completing shear work & I’ll be honest, it’s still not %100 but any time I get the chance I excel and push myself to complete the task to customer satisfaction!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
So I’m all in one barber I specialize in all kind of locs, color, all type of haircuts, facials, & massages. I also make my own merch/apparel from designing my own logos to literally physically making my own clothes. I have a hair product line which is only two products at the moment, an all natural hair moisturizer and a beard butter ! The most thing I’m proud of is when I get done with a customer from their appointment, they can come and talk to me about anything and sometimes I’m just an ear but also try to give them the best advice and sometimes they can do that for me, but with separates me from other’s is the fact of how my clients make me feel you know like family cause we can all be there for each other, I’m for my people !
