Today we’d like to introduce you to Byron Walker.
Hi Byron, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started out singing at the age of two. My mother would be in the kitchen cooking and I would be singing to her on a footstool. She was like my audience and the footstool was my stage. From that experience, I began to sing more throughout the years and started writing songs and that is how I came to be the singer that I am today, first and foremost with the help of the Lord.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road wasn’t always smooth. I think one of the biggest challenges along the way was having to deal with peer pressure and trying to fit in with the crowd as a teenager. I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to fit in regardless.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a national gospel recording artist. I not only sing but I also write songs for other artists as well as for myself. I am a Visionary coach and #1 Best Selling Author. I specialize in helping others by pushing them to complete their projects whether it’s in music or in another venture.
The thing that sets me apart from others is that I create things that others probably wouldn’t be thinking of, for example: I have a song entitled “Alphabets To Heaven”, which uses the ABCS.
What matters most to you?
The things that matter the most to me is to see the lives of individuals changed. There are so many challenges in the world and if I can motivate people and to see them successful, that is one of my biggest passions.
