Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb Holland.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I quit college and began Iron Wolf Academy in July 2014 with 25 students and are now at 170. We offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and TangSooDo as martial arts options for students to participate in. We are a faith based program with the intent to positively impact every person who comes through our doors.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the challenges have been making the decision to stay open during COVID, finding new locations to expand, getting an automated billing system to be efficient for us. But we have overcome each of the challenges presented. We have been a debt free business for 11 years.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are a martial arts academy specializing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, TangSooDo, and a few other martial arts styles. We are a family friendly Faith based academy. We offer private lessons, EMS and Military discounted rates. We compete regularly in the BJJ tournaments in Atlanta.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is making a lasting positive impact on each client we have because they learn a new way to think and run their life due to martial arts training.
