Check Out Carson Butler’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carson Butler.

Carson Butler

Hi Carson, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
How I got started in entrepreneurship officially was through the “Forex Wave” and network marketing. I was interested in making money online and I gravitated towards seeing people that were my age and race doing so. I learned how to trade forex and do network marketing when I was 17, then I shifted to content creation at 18. Originally I made faceless content but now I make a mix of faceless and personal content through my media company ‘Scars Make Stars’. I also started an apparel company called ‘Scars Make Stars Clothing’ to add to my community.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been smooth. Some struggles along the way we’re dealing with my parents being unaware of ways to make money outside of just a regular job. It was draining when I had conversations with my parents and they simply couldn’t understand. It still happens now since I dropped out of college six months ago to drop into my dreams full-time. My bloodline is full of college graduates, so they didn’t understand. However, they have slowly started to understand more as I have made more progress with my goals.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I run a media company called ‘Scars Make Stars’ and an apparel company called ‘Scars Make Stars Clothing’. I am known for being transparent about how I became a star from my scars since I was in a car accident at the age of 2. It left me with six physical scars and a glaring one on my chest. However, my accident not only left me physically scarred but emotionally scarred since it was hard to be comfortable with my facial appearance growing up. I didn’t get bullied too much but self-acceptance was a journey for me. Ever since I started going to the gym called ‘Rich and Fit Club’ in Chamblee, GA, I started showing my chest scar which I had never shown to the public before. Ever since then, people have supported me for my confidence and self-acceptance. I also show my confidence by interviewing other people on how they became a star from their scars in business, relationships, or life as a whole. Lastly, I launched an apparel company back in March called ‘Scars Make Stars Clothing’ to inspire people to become a star from their scars. If anyone wants to support the movement, they can visit smsclothing.net and purchase one of the two t-shirts that we have as of June 2023.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
My fearlessness.
