Check Out Chanel Cooper’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanel Cooper.

Hi Chanel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In 2012, I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. And in June 2018, my mother passed away from Congestive Heart Failure. The beginning of 2019, I found an article on Facebook about ways to overcome grief. The article mentioned several different activities. I decided to begin making jewelry. I posted some pieces that I created and friends and family inquired about purchasing them. And Bonnie’s Gracious Creations was born. I have also started a motivational speaking company Graced 2 Overcome which is to educate women about Cervical Cancer and also provide the tools for women of all ages that you overcome grief, illness, divorce and help other women move forward as well.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The challenges that come with starting this have been business is slower at certain times of the year.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in creating bracelets and necklaces for men and women. I am most of being able to start and continue a business during the toughest trial of my life. What sets me and my business apart from others is the time that I take creating each piece. I want women and men to be proud of who they are when they wear a piece created by Bonnie’s Gracious Creations.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I have learned is DO NOT QUIT. Even when busses slow.

DO NOT QUIT!
