Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Trini.
Hi Chris, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As a photographer, my passion lies in capturing the beauty and complexity of the world around us. I believe that every moment has the potential to tell a story, and I strive to capture those stories in my photographs. Whether I’m shooting landscapes, portraits, or still lifes, my goal is always to create images that are both visually stunning and emotionally evocative.
I’ve been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, from playing with my father’s camera’s as a child to using those same camera’s in college, spending hours in the darkroom developing my own film. I’ve spent years honing my skills and developing my unique style. I love experimenting with different techniques and approaches, from long-exposure night photography to minimalist black-and-white portraits. But no matter what the subject or style, my goal is always to create images that are both technically sound and artistically compelling.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from individual clients looking for family portraits to commercial clients seeking high-quality product photography. But no matter who I’m working with, my approach is always the same: to collaborate closely with my clients to understand their vision and goals and to bring that vision to life through my photographs.
In the end, I believe that photography is about much more than just taking pictures. It’s about telling stories, capturing emotions, and creating art that can inspire and move people. One of the most beautiful and fascinating things about photography and the camera is its ability to “stop time” and that moment remains infinite, it’s a privilege to be able to do that every day, through the power of my camera lens.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not be smooth lol
Being a photographer can be a difficult and challenging path, but that can be said for anything. I have been told from the start I couldn’t do it, the competition in the industry is too fierce, and it can be tough to stand out among the thousands of other talented photographers out there, it’s a feast-or-famine nature of the business and it can be stressful.
Those statements can be all true, but I have conviction in my heart to what I do as a photographer. I know not everyone will see it, not everyone understand, it’s important to know and develop your artistic vision.
Navigating the ever-changing landscape of technology and social media is a hard road itself. Keeping up with the latest tools and trends can be daunting, and it can be tough to stand out in an oversaturated market. But at the end of the day, despite it all, I love what I do, I know I have an eye for it, a talent for it, and that pushes me forward because it makes me happy regardless of the challenges or rejections I may face.
Always push forward, and believe in yourself.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Life of a fashion photographer can be fast-paced and exhilarating. Typically, the day starts early with preparations for a shoot. This might involve setting up equipment, scouting locations, and coordinating with the models, stylists, and other members of the team.
Once the shoot is underway, the photographer must work quickly and efficiently to capture a wide range of shots that showcase the fashion and accessories being featured. This may involve experimenting with different lighting setups, poses, and angles and working closely with the models to get the right look and feel.
After the shoot, the photographer must review and edit the images to select the best shots for the final product. This may involve cropping, color correction, and other adjustments to ensure that the images are high-quality and visually stunning.
Photography is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a combination of creativity, technical expertise, and strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
I’m most proud of my perseverance.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Family first, less is more, simpler is better, go with the flow, done over stress on the little things in life, enjoy the moments, and be thankful.
